If you haven't participated in Dablon's Wine 101 series yet, you're missing out on a great time. But the good news is that you don't have to have attended the previous Wine 101's to slide right in to the mix and claim your place at the table. And this month's 101 will be the usual mix of informative fun and excellent wine. We're calling this “class” Bordeaux 101, and the 4 featured wines will hit all the right notes.
Terry "The Wine Guru" will once again be on hand to share the intriguing history of the Bordeaux region, one of the most storied wine regions on the planet. What makes Bordeaux so unique? Why is it often one of the most expensive wines to buy? And what does "Bordeaux blend" actually mean, anyway?
So get that palate ready, and we'll go exploring with the Wine Guru once again, taking our palate on another adventure with these wines, reminiscent of Bordeaux:
We will also be re-releasing our sought after 2013 Dablon Cabernet Sauvignon that we have sold out of in the tasting room!
All wines will be paired with a side of delicious mushroom risotto, a classic Bordeaux pairing. Our winemakers will also be in attendance and will be offering a tour after the 101 class.
