Tasting Notes: This elegant Syrah offers inviting notes of black cherry and cocoa, accented by a hint of vanilla and a velvety mouthfeel. Experience after tastes of tobacco, boysenberry and black pepper on the finish.
Pairing Suggestions: Aged hard cheeses, barbeque, lamb, chicken, goat, venison or grilled steak and vegetables as well as a gourmet hamburger.
Vintage Year: Other than a late spring frost that caused minimal damage in some areas, the growing season was great. A two-week long warm spell mid-September ripened grapes fast, leading to a cool and dry harvest.
Winemaking Methods: Handpicked grapes, 100% stainless steel fermentation, malolactic fermentation, oak aged, fined, cold stabilized and filtered.
